Thursday October 19th, 2017—
8PM ET—Memphis at Houston (ESPN)
Houston -3 with over under 60.5
Cougars dropped a 45-17 road decision at Tulsa. Houston struggled for offense against a bad defensive team. This is not the same Houston teams of past seasons. Point production way down.
Memphis got past Navy winning 30-27 as a -3 point favorite. Their only loss came in a pounding at Central Florida 40-13.
Friday October 20th, 2017—
10:15PM ET—Colorado St at New Mexico (ESPN 2)
Colorado St -7.5 with over under 60
Colorado St has owned New Mexico with seven straight wins covering their past four. They barely got past Nevada last week 44-42 at home as a -25 point favorite. They are 3-0 in the Mountain West.
New Mexico now 0-2 in the Mountain West getting blown out at Fresno St 38-0 last week. New Mexico a much more balanced team as they run for 240 yards and pass for 170.
Saturday October 21st, 2017—
12PM ET—Louisville at Florida St (ESPN)
Florida St -6.5 with over under 59
Louisville coming off a bad defensive effort in a 45-42 home loss to Boston College as the Eagles hit a long field as time expired. They fall to 4-3.
Question is can Florida St generate enough offense to cover. They pushed the closing line in a 17-10 road win at Duke. The line was a -6.5 for much of the week.
12PM ET—Oklahoma St at Texas (ABC)
Oklahoma St -7 with over under 65.5
Texas got the money for their point spread backers last week covering as a +9 underdog in a 29-24 defeat to Oklahoma.
Oklahoma St after their loss at home to TCU has a seven point victory at Texas Tech and last week win by 43 at home to Baylor laying -26.
3:30PM ET—Tennessee at Alabama (CBS)
Alabama -34.5 with over under 50.5
Another big number on Alabama. They couldn’t cover as 37 point favorites at home to Arkansas winning 41-9.
Another home loss for Tennessee last week as they drop a 15-9 home decision to South Carolina. That came after a 41-0 home defeat to Georgia.
3:30PM ET—Syracuse at Miami (ESPN)
Miami -16.5 with over under 59
Syracuse has a passing attack with Erick Dungey at home as they upset Clemson 27-24 as a 24 point underdog. Clemson had injury issues at QB.
Another late score led to a win as Miami beat Georgia Tech 25-24on a 24 yard field goal as time expired. Hurricanes struggled on third down going 2 of 12 though moved the football.
4PM ET—Oklahoma at Kansas St (FOX)
Oklahoma -14 with over under 55
Kansas St quarterback issues as Ertz is out with a knee sprain. They have dropped three of four losing 26-6 at home to TCU.
Oklahoma built up a 17-0 early lead on Texas and lost the lead in the fourth quarter. They win on a 59 yard TD pass by Baker Mayfield and the defense holds.
7:30PM ET—Michigan at Penn St (ABC)
Penn St -9.5 with over under 44.5
Michigan held McSorely and Barkley in check last year in their victory. After dropping a 14-0 home decision to Michigan St they needed overtime to beat Indiana on the road 27-20 as a -7 point favorite.
Penn St comes off the bye 6-0 with their 31-7 win at Northwestern as a -14 point favorite. Indiana has been toughest home opponent who they blew out 45-14 as a 19 point favorite.
7:30PM ET—USC at Notre Dame (NBC)
Notre Dame -3.5 with over under 60
USC another failed cover in their 28-27 home victory to Utah as a -13.5 favorite. They are 1-7 ATS dating back to the Rose Bowl. But they are an underdog this time which they weren’t in that 1-7 ATS trend.
Notre Dame hit the bye week 5-1 after thumping North Carolina on the road 33-10 cover as 12 point favorites.
10:45PM ET—Colorado at Washington St (ESPN)
Washington St -10.5 with over under 55.5. Colorado struggled past Oregon St 3-33 not covering as -9.5 favorites on the road. It broke a three game losing streak all against the PAC 12.
Washington St looks to rebound after a turnover fest 37-3 loss at Cal as a -16 favorite.
