Wednesday October 11th, 2017—
8PM ET—South Alabama at Troy (ESPN 2)
Troy -16.5 with over under 49.5
Troy returns to action after their win at LSU. Prior to that win they beat Akron by 5 at home and New Mexico St by 3 on the road.
South Alabama is 1-4 with a home to FCS school Alabama A&M. Their past two defeats came to Idaho by six at home in overtime and at Louisiana Tech 34-16.
Thursday October 12th, 2017—
7:30PM ET—Texas St at UL Lafayette (ESPN U)
UL Lafayette -14
You have to lay two touchdowns with a home favorite that allows 506 yards per game. UL Lafayette had dropped three straight until at 21-16 victory at Idaho. They have a 56-50 home defeat to UL Monroe allowing 43 regulation points.
Texas St is 1-5 with their only win to Houston Baptist. Losses by margin at home to UL Monroe, Texas San Antonio and Appalachian St.
Friday October 13th, 2017—
10:30PM ET—Washington St at Cal (ESPN)
Washington St -14 with over under 53.5
Cal continues their scheduling gauntlet. USC, Oregon, Washington and now Washington St. Cal tried to cover as a +28.5 underdog by attempting a field goal as time expired by a botched snapped gave the cover to the Huskies.
Washington St moved to 6-0 with an impressive win at Oregon. After five straight home games it was their first road game. Cougars are fifth in passing at 392 per game. They are 11th ranked defensively.
Saturday October 7th, 2017—
12PM ET—Michigan at Indiana (ABC)
Michigan -6.5 with over under 48
Wolverines have quarterback issues as Speight is lost for the season. Offense couldn’t generate points as they fell 14-10 to Michigan St at home.
Indiana benched Richard Lagow and Peyton Ramsey got his first start against Charleston Southern in a 27-0 home victory. Now he must face one of the best defenses in college football. Hoosiers are 3-2.
12PM ET—TCU at Kansas ST (FOX Sports 1)
TCU -7 with over under 53.5
TCU remains undefeated at 5-0 after their 31-24 home victory to a good West Virginia team buy fail to cover -12.
Kansas St crushed TCU last year winning 30-6 on the road as a +4 underdog. Their two losses this year came on the road by one possession at Texas and Vanderbilt.
3:30PM ET—Georgia Tech at Miami (ESPN)
Miami -5.5 with over under 52
Hurricanes dramatics with their four point win to Florida St last week. They wanted a bye week before Georgia Tech but because of the weather rescheduling the Hurricanes must regroup and get ready for that triple option with half the time.
Georgia Tech has lost seven of their past eight to Miami. They have won three straight since their loss to Tennessee by one in overtime in the opener. Yellow Jackets come off the bye.
3:30PM ET—Oklahoma vs. Texas (ABC)
Oklahoma -7.5 with over under 65
Sooners defense flounders after a 38-31 home defeat to Iowa St who was using a third string quarterback.
Texas has covered four straight in this series all as underdogs. They got past Kansas St in overtime last week 40-34 as a -6 favorite to move to 3-2.
3:30PM ET—Auburn at LSU (CBS)
Auburn -7 with over under 44.5
LSU nursed a one point lead for 17 minutes to beat Florida 17-16 covering the early number but not covering as a late -1.5 favorite.
Auburn is 3-0 in the SEC with big wins at Missouri and home to Ole Miss and Mississippi St. Their only loss came at Clemson 14-6.
7::15PM ET—Arkansas at Alabama (ESPN)
Alabama -30 with over under 56
Arkansas drops a 48-22 decision at South Carolina last week as a -3 point favorite to fall to 2-3. They are 0-3 in the SEC.
Alabama couldn’t cover as a -25 point favorite in a 27-19 victory at Texas A&M after wins by 59 at Vandy and 63 at home to Ole Miss.
8PM ET—Utah at USC (ABC)
USC -13 with over under 53.5
Utes suffered their first loss dropping a 23-20 home loss to Stanford covering the spread on the early number.
USC beats Oregon St 38-10 but can’t cover as a -32.5 favorite. They are 1-6 ATS dating back to the Rose Bowl.
10:45PM ET—Washington at Arizona St (ESPN)
Washington -17.5 with over under 60.5
Huskies win and cover -28.5 at home to Cal last week 38-7. Third road game in four weeks in PAC 12. They shouldn’t complain about this 10:45PM ET start playing in the desert at Tempe this week.
Sun Devils fell to 2-4 losing at Stanford two weeks ago 34-24 covering +14. They have covered back to back as double digit dogs with a home win and cover to Oregon.
