Thursday December 24th
Hawaii Bowl
8PM ET—San Diego St vs. Cincinnati (ESPN)
Cincinnati -1 ½ with o/u 57
San Diego St has won nine straight after a 27-24 home victory to Air Force in the Mountain West title game.
Cincinnati finished at 7-5 after a three point road win at East Carolina on November 28th.
Saturday December 26th
St Petersburgh Bowl
11AM ET—Connecticut vs. Marshall (ESPN)
Marshall -4 with o/u 44
Connecticut is 6-6 and still has trouble generating points. They have a notable three point home win to Houston.
Marshall fell to 9-3 after a 49-28 road loss at Western Kentucky.
Sun Bowl
2PM ET—Miami vs. Washington St (CBS)
Washington St -3 with o/u 62 ½
Washington St was a surprise to finish at 8-4 with surprise wins against Oregon and UCLA on the road. A late missed field goal cost them a 30-28 home defeat to Stanford.
Miami is 8-4 and have won two straight and four of five after a 29-24 road win at Pittsburgh.
Heart of Dallas Bowl
2:20PM ET—Washington vs. Southern Miss (ESPN)
Washington -8 ½ points with o/u 55 ½ points
The Huskies are 6-6 and had to go with a freshman at quarterback. The defense is coming together for the team. They crushed Washington St 45-10 at home in the Apple Cup.
Southern Miss has turned around as the team id 9-4 following some real down seasons. Their six game win streak was snapped in a 45-28 road loss to Western Kentucky in the Conference USA Championship Game.
Pinstripe Bowl
3:30PM ET—Indiana versus Duke (ABC)
Indiana -2 with o/u 67 ½ points
Indiana became bowl eligible after a road win at Purdue and Maryland to close the regular season. They played Michigan and Ohio St to a one possession game. Duke is 7-5 and broke a four game losing streak with a 27-21 road win at Wake Forest.
Independence Bowl
5:45PM ET—Tulsa vs. Virginia Tech (ESPN)
Virginia Tech -13 ½ points with o/u 61 ½ points
Last game for head coach Frank Beamer at Virginia Tech. They went 6-6 after a three point road win at Virginia.
Tulsa finished at 6-6 with a 45-34 road victory at Tulane.
Foster Farms Bowl
9:15PM ET—UCLA vs. Nebraska (ESPN)
UCLA -6 ½ points with o/u 61
It was a disappointing 8-4 season for UCLA as the missed the PAC 12 title game after getting crushed at USC.
Nebraska finished with a losing 5-7 record with Nebraska. They are 122nd against the pass by allowing 288 yards passing per game.
Monday December 28th
Military Bowl
2:30PM ET—Pittsburgh vs. Navy (ESPN)
Navy -3 ½ with o/u 56
Navy missed a shot at a New Year’s Day bowl game with a 52-31 road defeat at Houston. They rebounded with a 21-17 road win at Army.
Pittsburgh fell to 8-4 with the 29-24 home loss to Miami.
Quick Lane Bowl
5PM ET—Central Michigan vs. Minnesota (ESPN2)
Minnesota -5 ½ with o/u 49 ½ points.
Minnesota is 5-7 another losing team from the Big Ten in a bowl game. They are losers of five of six after a 31-21 home defeat to Wisconsin.
Central Michigan is 7-5 and winners of five of their past six games with a 35-28 home victory to Eastern Michigan. They have a notable ten point home victory to Northern Illinois.
