Show Date: March 24th 2015
The NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen is here and Tony and Mitch cover the big games from Thursday and Friday.
Thursday March 26th
7:15PM ET—Wichita St vs. Notre Dame (CBS)—
Line: Notre Dame -2 points with a total of 137 points from Cleveland Ohio.
Good defensive performances for Wichita St as they beat Indiana and Kansas.
Notre Dame won two close games against Northeastern and Butler which went overtime.
7:47PM ET—North Carolina vs. Wisconsin (TBS)—
Line: Wisconsin -6 points with a total of 144 points from LA California.
Big line move on Badgers as the line opened Wisconsin -3 ½ points. North Carolina has shot well in two wins against Arkansas and Harvard.
It was a huge free throw discrepancy for Wisconsin as they get to the line 29 times and send Oregon to the free throw line just seven times in a 72-65 victory in the Round of 32.
9:45PM ET—West Virginia vs. Kentucky (CBS)—
Line: Kentucky -13 ½ points with a total of 136 ½ points from Cleveland Ohio.
Kentucky two wins but two non-covers in wins against Hampton and Cincinnati.
West Virginia up to their tricks forcing havoc and turnovers in wins against Buffalo and Maryland. Terrapins ball handler leaves due to injury in the second half and they finished with 21 turnovers against the Mountaineers.
10:17PM ET—Xavier vs. Arizona (TBS)—
Line: Arizona -10 ½ points with a total of 135 ½ points from LA California.

Xavier beats Missouri in their opener then catches a break facing Georgia St after the Panthers upset Baylor in the second round. Xavier shot 67% in an eight point win against Georgia St. The Musketeers are in the Sweet Sixteen for the fifth time in eight years.
Arizona corrected a poor defensive outing in their opener against Texas Southern as the beat Ohio St in the third round
Friday March 27th
7:15PM ET—UCLA vs. Gonzaga (CBS)—
Line: Gonzaga favored by -8 ½ points with a total of 144 points from Houston Texas.
UCLA pulled out the upset of SMU then catch a break facing UAB after the Blazers beat Iowa St in the second round.
Gonzaga crushed UCLA by 13 on the Bruins home court on December 13th. The Bulldogs crushed Iowa in the Round of 32 game by 19 points.
7:37PM ET—NC State vs. Louisville (TBS)—
Line: Louisville -2 ½ points with a total of 130 points from Syracuse New York.
They met once in ACC conference play with NC State posting the 74-65 road win getting +10 ½ points. The Wolfpack pulled off an upset win over one seeded Villanova 71-68 getting +10 points.
After a close call against UC Irvine a great defensive effort by Louisville resulted in a 66-53 victory to Northern Iowa in the Round of 32.
9:45PM ET—Utah vs. Duke (CBS)—
Duke -5 ½ points with a total of 135 points from Houston Texas.
I am hearing that Duke is getting 80% of the action in Las Vegas. The line has moved ½ a point from the opener of five points. Question here is can Utah defend the hot shooting Blue Devils.
Duke beat a flawed San Diego St Aztecs team in the Round of 32 as the Aztecs had poor offensive showing for much of the season.
10:07PM ET—Michigan St Spartans vs. Oklahoma Sooners (TBS)—
Line: Michigan St favored by -2 points with a total of 134 ½ points from Syracuse New York.
Michigan St a seven seed favored over a three seed in Oklahoma. The Spartans faced two difficult opponents in the tourney and pulled off a seven point win against Georgia and a six point win to Virginia.
No respect for Oklahoma here. A lack of bench depth would make the Sooners more vulnerable in an Elite Eight Game if they get there on Sunday.
