Big Games covered are from Wednesday January 31st through Sunday February 4th 2018.

Tony and Mitch break down the big college basketball games this week from a Las Vegas point spread angle.
Wednesday January 31st—
7PM ET—Providence at Seton Hall (FS 1)
Seton Hall -6.5
Providence has about a week loss since their 20 point loss last Tuesday at Villanova failing to cover as a +15.5 underdog. It broke a four game win streak.
Seton Hall is 11-1 at home and 5-3 in the Big East. They dropped a nine point decision at home to Xavier then bounced back on the road with a 16 point win at DePaul on Sunday as a -6 point favorite.
7PM ET—Louisville at Virginia (ESPN2)
Virginia -10
Virginia moved to 9-0 in the ACC with a two point road win at Duke. They are 13-0 straight up at home covering their past two at home to Clemson by 25 and to NC State by 17.
Louisville is quietly 6-2 in the ACC. Right before conference play they lost by 29 at Kentucky. Only two losses in ACC came in overtime at Clemson and in OT at Miami covering both games as underdogs.
9PM ET—Butler vs. Marquette (FS 1)
Marquette -3
Butler is 5-4 in the Big East and 2-4 on the road. Bulldogs after a 10 point defeat at Providence won at covered at DePaul and at home to St Johns. They have dropped three of four on the road.
Marquette a good three point shooting team covered at home to Villanova on Sunday in a three point defeat. They have dropped three of four with road defeats at Xavier and Butler by 9 as a five point underdog.
Thursday February 1st
6:30PM ET—Creighton vs. Villanova (FS 1)
Villanova -13
Villanova have won seven straight. Team has covered two straight at home with a 20 point victory to Providence and by 24 to Xavier.
Creighton sits at 3-4 in their true road games and 7-3 in the Big East. Blue Jays have recent losses on the road by 14 at Providence and by 22 at Xavier.
7PM ET—Wichita St at Temple (ESPN2)
Wichita St -4
Shockers are 5-1 on the road. They sit at 7-2 in the AAC. Shockers after back to back losses at home to SMU and at Houston have rebounded with spread covering home blowout wins to Central Florida and Tulsa.
Temple is 3-6 in conference and a poor 5-4 at home. Owls have played better of late winning three of four after a spread covering 85-57 home victory to UCONN on Sunday.
11PM ET—Arizona St at Washington (PAC 12)
Arizona St -4
After a fast start in the non-conference the Sun Devils are 4-5 in the PAC 12. They split their games last week losing by three in overtime at home to Utah and then beating Colorado by 14 at home covering with a late run.
Washington has shown great improvement this season as they are 5-3 in conference. Huskies are defending. They have won two straight after a spread covering 80-62 home victory Sunday to Washington St.
Friday February 2nd
7PM ET—Rhode Island vs. VCU (ESPN2)
Rhode Island -5
Rams were in action tonight defeating Massachusetts on the road 76-66 covering the closing line of -9.5. Rhode Island is now 10-0 in the A10. They did play tough competition in holiday tournament this year.
VCU is 6-3 in conference and 10-3 straight up at home. Rams also tested in the non-conference. They have won three straight after an 84-76 road victory at George Mason on Saturday.
9PM ET—Utah at Colorado (FOX 1)
Utah -1
Utah is 5-5 in the PAC 12 and need a strong close for a possible at large big. Utes had their three game win streak snapped in their one point defeat at Arizona on Saturday covering as a 8.5 underdog.
Buffaloes sit 4-6 in conference as they have dropped three straight after getting swept at the Arizona schools last week losing by 14 at ASU and covering losing by 9 at the Wildcats.
Saturday February 3rd
12PM ET—Oklahoma St at Kansas (CBS)
Kansas -12
Jayhawks sit atop the Big 12 at 7-2 in conference after their 14 point road win at Kansas St.
Oklahoma St is in action on tonight at home to TCU in need of a victory. They were 3-5 in the Big 12 entering play on a two game losing streak.
2PM ET—Kentucky at Missouri (CBS)
Missouri -1
Wildcats sitting in a tie for third in the SEC at 5-3 in conference. They are in action tonight against Vanderbilt coming off a seven point win at 10.5 underdog at West Virginia on Saturday.
Missouri is 3-5 in conference as they are at Alabama on Wednesday. They look to break a three game losing streak failing to coverall each time after a 12 point loss at Mississippi St on Saturday.
4PM ET—Alabama at Florida (ESPN)
Florida -8
Alabama is 1-4 straight up on the road. Crimson Tide host Missouri on Wednesday winners of five of six after beating Oklahoma at home 80-73 as a +1 underdog.
Florida sits second in the SEC at 6-2. They are in action Tuesday on the road at Georgia winners of three of four after beating Baylor by 21 on Saturday. Shooting can be an issue for the Gators at times.
5PM ET—Oregon at Stanford (FOX)
Stanford -2
Ducks are 4-4 in the PAC 12 and need a strong finish. They carry a two game win streak after back to back home victories to UCLA and Oregon St.
Stanford has lost three straight after a 16 point defeat at UCLA on Saturday. Cardinal had covered seven straight until that loss to the Bruins.
6PM ET—USC vs. UCLA (ESPN 2)
UCLA -2
USC sits second in the PAC 12 at 8-2. They beat Stanford and Cal last week at home. They covered against the Golden Bears but not to Stanford.
UCLA is 6-4 in the PAC 12 and needs to finish strong. They too swept the NoCal schools with a win and cover to Stanford but struggled through a 13 point win not covering to Cal. Bruins had trouble separating from the Golden Bears until the final five minutes.
6:15PM ET—Oklahoma at Texas (ESPN)
Texas -2
Sooners face Baylor tonight after getting beat at Alabama on Saturday 80-73 as a -1 point favorite. Road has not been kind to Oklahoma.
Longhorns are in action Wednesday at Texas Tech winners of two straight win home wins to Ole Miss and Iowa St covering both times.
8:15PM ET—Michigan St at Indiana (ESPN)
Michigan St -9
Hoosiers are 5-5 in the Big Ten as they were at Ohio St on Tuesday. Indiana has covered their past four at home in the Big Ten.
Michigan St sits 8-2 in conference as they host Penn St on Wednesday winners of four straight. Recent road wins at Maryland and Illinois but a 16 point defeat at Indiana.
10:30PM ET—Arizona at Washington (PAC 12)
Arizona -4
We talked Washington already
Wildcats are top the PAC 12 at 8-1 as they travel to Washington St on Wednesday. They have won six straight since their lone loss in conference at Colorado. They have failed to cover six of their past seven with the only cover coming against Cal.
Sunday January 4th
12PM ET—Seton Hall at Villanova (CBS)
Villanova -14
We talked Seton Hall and Villanova already
These teams last met in the Big East semifinals last year with Villanova winning 55-53 as a -11 point favorite.
Pirates are an experienced team that makes 36.2% of their three point shots. On the road Seton Hall is 3-3 recent losses by 17 at Creighton and by 20 at Marquette.
1PM ET—Wisconsin at Maryland (CBS)
Maryland -9
Wisconsin sits 3-7 in the Big Ten. They sit at 10-13 overall losers of three straight and six of their past seven games after a five point home defeat to Nebraska on Monday.
Terrapins are at Purdue on Wednesday losers of two straight after a six point home defeat to Michigan St on Sunday pushing the line. They have dropped four straight on the road in the Big Ten covering just once.
