SEC Conference West Previews:

Alabama Crimson Tide: 12-2 overall/ 7-1 vs. SEC in 2014
The team fell to Ohio St in the playoff semifinals. Road games in the SEC at Georgia, Texas A&M, Mississippi St and Auburn. Home to LSU and Ole Miss. They face Wisconsin in the opener in Jerry’s World. Only three starters back on offense. Alabama must replace wide out Amari Cooper.

2015 Regular Season Win Total: 9 ½ wins
Mississippi St Bulldogs: 10-3 overall/ 6-2 vs. SEC in 2014
They fell 49-34 in the Orange Bowl to Georgia Tech. They have only seven starters returning in 2015. Road games in SEC at Auburn, Texas A&M, Missouri and Arkansas. They host Alabama, LSU and Ole Miss.
Dak Prescott returns. Prescott was eighth in the 2014 Heisman voting. He will be behind an in-experienced offensive line. Only three starters return on defense.
2015 Regular Season Win Total: 7 wins
Mississippi Rebels: 9-4 overall/5-3 vs. SEC in 2014
The team fell 42-3 to TCU in their bowl game. The Rebels will have experience with 16 starters returning for the 2015 campaign.
Road SEC schedule includes trips to Alabama, Florida, Auburn and Mississippi St. Tough home games against LSU and Arkansas.
JC transfer Chad Kelly and sophomore Ryan Buchanan is vying for the starting QB job. Whoever starts have most of their playmakers from the running and passing game back.
The Rebels on defense in 2014 held opponents to just 16 points and 329 yards per game.
2015 Regular Season Win Total: 8 ½ wins
Auburn Tigers: 8-5 overall/4-4 vs. SEC in 2014
Team lost to Wisconsin 34-31 in overtime in the Outback Bowl.
Four starters are back on offense for Auburn. A big hire was Will Muschamp at the defensive coordinator position.
Their road SEC games are at LSU, Kentucky, Arkansas and Texas A&M. They get Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss and Mississippi St at home. Auburn faces Louisville in the opener at a neutral side in Atlanta.
First year starter Jeremy Johnson will most likely be under center. Despite some losses to the NFL in the running back and wide receiver position the team feels very confident about their replacements.
2015 Regular Season Win Total: 8 ½ Wins.
LSU Tigers: 8-5 overall/4-4 vs. SEC in 2014
In the Music City Bowl the Tigers lost 31-28 to Notre Dame. LSU has 15 starters back.
Their road schedule in the SEC has stops at Mississippi St, South Carolina, Alabama and Ole Miss. Difficult home games come against Auburn, Arkansas and Texas A&M.
The Tigers quarterback situation was a mess in 2014. Anthony Jennings (Jr.) and Brandon Harris (So.) will compete for the starting position. Accuracy has been a major issue as LSU barely completed half of their passes last season.

LSU played better on defense in 2014 by holding opponents to 17.5 points per game.

2015 Regular Season Win total: 8
Texas A&M Aggies: 8-5 overall/3-5 vs. SEC in 2014
Despite a disappointing year the club closed out on a high note by beating West Virginia 45-37 in the Liberty Bowl.
The team has 16 starters back on offense.
Road SEC games include stops at Old Miss, Vanderbilt and LSU. They face Arkansas on a neutral field. Aggies have a tough home schedule by playing Auburn, South Carolina, Alabama and Mississippi St. Texas A&M opens the season facing Arizona St on a neutral field in Houston.
It looks like sophomore Kyle Allen will complete with freshman Kyler Murray for the starting quarterback position.
Texas A&M has struggled the past two seasons on defense. They bring over defensive coordinator John Chavis who held a similar position at LSU.
Arkansas Razorbacks: 7-6 overall/2-6 vs. SEC in 2014

Arkansas showed improvement in 2014 but will be looking for a better opponent than Texas St come the postseason. The team returns 17 starters from a year ago with 9 on the offensive side of the football.

Road SEC games at Tennessee, Alabama, Ole Miss and LSU. Tough home games are against Mississippi St, Missouri and Auburn. They face Texas A&M on a neutral field in Arlington Texas.
Head coach Bret Bielema returns four of his starters from a very good offensive line. Their quarterback Brandon Allen enters his senior season and he will have many of his playmakers back.
On defense in 2014 the Razorbacks showed improvement by limiting opponents to just 19 points per game.
